Tutankhamun was an Egyptian pharaoh who lived around 1342-1325 BC. He became the emperor at age 9, and died in battle aged 19. I watched a documentary about him. It taught me that people found his tomb in 1922, and they have discovered much more about him than first thought, People have always thought of Tutankhamun as just a boy that was sick and helpless, but in ancient Egypt you became a man at the age of 14 and he was way more powerful than people think. He wasn't just a little pharaoh, he was a warrior. In his tomb they found a lot of weapons but there was one that the experts think was the most special to him it was a dagger that was inside of his coffin, it was laid right below his abdomen. People study that thing the most and found out that the knife was made out of iron and iron was very rear back then. They used a special x-ray and found out that the iron from that dagger was made out of a type of iron that wasn't from earth, it had to be from an asteroid . People think that the death mask that was on Tutankhamun never belonged to him. After a little bit they found out that it was made for Tutankhamun's stepmother Nefretete because there wasn’t time to make make his mask before he got sealed away in his tomb.
