Today I have another story that I was writing.
It was not that hard to do it was all pretty easy.
It was really fun to make here it is....
Paragraph one .....
Slowly I walked towards the door it was the smell of smoke that drew me towards the door
“Get back Izzy” my dad shouts, shaking me
“What am I doing here” I ask
“That does not matter right now just get out of the house, grab the horses and Maple then go to the edge of the forest” He replies
“But why and what is that smell?” Still wondering what I was doing at the top of the basement steps with my pyjamas on.
“Just go” he says as he ran to get the fire extinguisher “Muffins my Muffins she is down there my poor kitten” I say “I will get her now go” My dad says running into the fire “NO DAD” I shout through my tears but only silence replied my shout Smash
“Go Izzy run I am so sorry Muffins is dead and I am trapped go Izzy go to Mia’s house you will be safe from them there!”
My dad shouts coughing in the smoke I knew that when the coughing of my father stopped that he was dead so I ran barely able to see through my tears then I went to Mia’s house riding Lemon my horse who was the only one left the others had suffered the same fate as my father and Muffins so I grabbed the small carriage and attached it onto the saddle lifted Maple my only dog up into the carriage hopped onto the horse and left my house that was burnt to a crisp by then.
Paragraph 2
“Izzy hurry come inside darling you look hurt what happened!” Said Mia’s Mum rushing out of the door when she saw me
“My dad h-he is g-g-one in the fire so is m-m-muffins and the rest o-of the h-horses” I say heartbroken
“Come sit down you must be hungry and sad I know that your dad was the only parent you ever knew so this must be hard for you now tell me did you go near the fire” she said
“I went into the bas-sement where the f-f-fire was and it was in a ring shape but then my dad took me away” I relied
“Oh no, Mia get here now we are leaving hurry” She shouted
“I am here what is wrong mum?” She said not noticing me “ Quickly we have to leave they are coming for you go to Ruby and Emily’s houses give their parents this note take Dorris and Rufus it will comfort Maple she must be stressed out go Time is of the essence” She said giving us a carriage full of food and water then attaching it onto Dorris Mia hoisted Rufus up
“You are a heavy pup aren't you Rufus I wish I knew what breed you and your sis Maple are now comfort Maple she looks scared” she says to Rufus then we set off we took Ruby and Emily with us and got two more carriages plus Dandy and Cookie the horses also Alfie and Milly the dogs. We set off to the Pearl temple where Ruby’s mum told us to go….
Paragraph 3
“KNOCK KNOCK” Mia knocks on the grand pearly white doors to the entrance of the Pearl temple
“What is the password” says a gruff voice we all look around and see a nutcracker guard standing on the right of us
“Oh um I don’t know the password” I say hoping he doesn’t throw us into jail.
“Let them in, I know why they are here” says a queenly voice.
Creeeeeeeeeackkk the door of the temple opens so slowly it is agony.
“Hurry up make the doors go faster hurry, hurry I want to meet the girls” the voice says again
“Yes your majesty” says the nutcracker soldier. When the doors finally open a bright light greats them
“Girls hello I am queen pearl and welcome to the pearl temple where dragon halflings learn about flying and transforming” says queen pearl dressed in a long pearl white dress and long blonde hair embedded with small pearls topped of with a pearl crown.
“What is this place and why are we here? We are not part dragon!” says Emily
“Why of course you are that's why they are coming for you and that's why you have to go to pearl Island the only safe place for dragon halflings'' Pearl replies
“Now come on you have to start training right now” she also says
A WHILE LATER…… “AHHHH graven run for your lives the underworlds army are coming for us “Girls go now take this map and leave we will care for your animals I am sorry you can not take them but it is to dangerous” Shouts queen Pearl over the racket
“But what are graverns and why do we have to go?” I ask
“Graverns are dangerous creatures, I can't tell you much more you have to go now” she replies
“ Yes queen Pearl we will go now” Mia says. OOF I keep on tripping up with all the mess
“JUMP” Shouts Emily as we run off the cliff
“We did it we are dragons” I say surprised. BANG I look back startled as the building got set alight the fire blazed bright there was thick dark blood everywhere but we were going to somewhere safe plus there would be others like them there. It would be paradise.

The last 2 weeks Rm 7 has been doing a type of art called Aboriginal!
It is something you might see quite a lot in Australia.
I did a warm colour (Yellow,orange,red those sort of colours are warm colours) for my gecko (Rm 7 all had to do a gecko first) then I had to do a cool colour for my background (Cool as in cold like green black and blue those are cool colours) I was allowed to do a cool gecko and a warm background but I chose not to.
After we where allowed to do another thing afterwards I did a dog because I go for walks with my dog Louie but I could not do what colours he is this is a photo of him....

The last few days Rm 7 have been doing some art based on Wassily Kandinsky's art we focused on one painting that looks like this .....
Then we did paintings that looked like it.
It was easy to do the circles on the art piece but it was harder to do the colours around the circles because I got it on the circles lots of the time.
Here is my art......
You can do the outer circle first though or do the middle circle first and you could do them any colour or size.
Here is a photo of me and my friend Mikayla making our art...
We got to make lots of cool colours starting off with red, blue, yellow, white and black.

The last week we (Rm 7) have been working on a story called coin operated but first we did planning so here is my planning.
Here is also a photo of it....
One sunny afternoon the boy held his toy rocket and ran along zooming it up and down.
The boy around 6 ran around his mum flying his toy rocket then stopping abruptly.
The Boy hops in the rocket and puts in his money but it does not work the way he wants it to so he sets up a lemonade stand.
He waits and waits and sells lots of lemonade then he saves up a huge huge bag of money.
He saves up lots of money than he puts it in the rocket and it blasts into space.
The 5-6 year old boy turns into a really old person.
The difficult thing to do this was probally trying to make the sentences small..
The easiest thing about it was writing the story but I have only finished 3 quarters of it so I will not post it yet.

Last week Rm 7 did a writing called the present and it was very fun to do!
The hard thing about it was probally trying to add the thing about the boys leg at the end.
The easy part was probally doing it from the prospective of the dog.
The video we watched was quite sad for the dog at the start.

Here is my writing about it......
As the sun was setting and a boy around 12 with brown hair sat glued to his video game. Creak his mum walked through the door carrying a brown soggy cardboard box “You should get off that game it’s bad for you to sit on it all day” said the mum she dropped the cardboard box in front of the boy “go ahead open the present honey” “for me?” the mum didn’t answer because she was too busy on the phone that had started ringing. Gingerly boy opened the box and an adorable dog jumped out “Cool a dog” the boy carefully picked the dog out of the box the boy then saw that the dog was missing a leg “Arg nevermind'' said the boy angrily as he roughly threw the dog on the floor. When the dog was upside down the dog saw a red squeaky ball and he turned over and pounced at it. He stumbled along with his stump for a leg falling over but getting back up. Happily the dog played and the boy kept on looking down at him. Finally the boy gave in. He lifted himself up with one missing leg like the dog and grabbed his crutches. “I’m going to be outside” the boy called to his mum then they both stumbled out the door and started to play fetch happily.

The dogs perspective.....
I wake up and I can’t see anything but it’s not night it's day ‘what do I do’ I think to myself. OOF, I hit something hard and I can hear voices saying “go ahead open the present honey” the woman’s voice said and a boy's voice say “for me?” Suddenly a bright light shines in my face. I jump out and my vision is still a little fuzzy but it’s a new place I have to explore. AAAH something grabs me so I look away “cool a dog” the boy's voice says I look at the thing holding me it is the boy. Suddenly I get thrown on the ground but I don’t care because I see a red squeaky ball and I want to play with it. Hurriedly I turn over off my back and pounce at it. Then it rolls into a box but I keep pouncing at it then it goes black again. ‘Who turned the lights out?’ I think to myself then I realize I was in the box. I lift it off myself and go to the boy. I jump up at him with the ball in my mouth. Oww he kicked me away and it hurt but I don’t care I am going to get this boy to play with me if it is the last thing I do!!!! I jump back up and he kicks me again. I jump up one more time but this time I don’t get kicked and the boy stands up. He grabs these weird stick things then he shouts “We are going outside Mum” then I notice he had a missing leg like me “Yay!” I bark.

Yesterday (25.6.2021) Rm 7 was doing writing on Similes and Metaphors.
Here is my writing it was based on this image........
A colourful hot air balloon floated gently across the sky. The water is a shimmering crystal as the morning sun shines across it. All of a sudden a cool breeze swirled as it passed the hot air balloon. Slowly some fish swam in the calm sea. Later in the day I wanted to jump in the water but I knew my hot air balloon would fly off without me, so I waited. Suddenly, the hot air balloon popped and started swirling down. It was like a tornado. I felt the cold water engulf me. Alarmingly it all went black.

The one I am going to show you today is the Choose a legend one sadly you had to chose one from the Rm 7 Kauri site.
There were about 6 or 7 to chose from but you could only chose two.
Then you had to read it and put infomation in the slides.

Hi blogger here is my writing..
I am riding on my trusty steed Moonlight as we gallop back to the castle as the shadows chase us. The castle is so close but it seems so far away and they are catching up. I am not sure if we can make it. I see my friend Mia opening up the stable door for us. As we speed up the shadows suddenly stop I look back as we ride into the stables. They know they can’t get into the castle because Me and Mia set up a protection barrier. But it will only hold for a little while because Me and Mia are only starter wizards and the only thing that is left to teach us is a book, the other wizards died in a battle against the shadows many years ago.It’s very late but Me and Mia are still up trying to think of plans to do when the barrier breaks ‘What if it breaks and we are away or what if they get in before we put up another one’ Mia worriedly says ‘It will be terrible if it breaks and we are away or if they get in but I hope that won’t happen and if it does we are probably done for and we should let the army and other people to handle it’ I say.Neigh I hear the horses alarmed neigh then I hear BANG ‘We need to go see what is happening NOW’ I say ‘What if Misty and Moonlight got stolen!!’ Mia says. All I do is grab her by the arm and then we both slide down the rugged ladder down into the stables and see a pitch black shadow as my bare foot touches the freezing cold ground the shadow turns around, grabs the horse and runs. ‘NO’ says Mia ‘Stop get back here’ I say Mia starts to run after her I start running to but it is to late we were to slow.

Today Room 7 and all the other year 6&5s are going around the school for toolkits. Me Mikayla and Charlotte all are in the same one for the first session but the 2nd and 3rd we are not in the same one :(
In this session we were doing piskel so we learnt how to do piskel it was cool. The hard thing about it was that I did not know what to do.

In Rm seven the thing we are focusing on for writing is setting descriptive scences.
It was really hard to think of things to describe the haunted house but my favourite part is that it is a haunted house.

As I was wondering down an broken brick road in a deep dark eerie forest and It was a murky pitchblack night. As I walked up to the house I could hear bats squeaking and flapping above the creaking house as it stood like a giant towering over me. I could feel the thick fog swirling around me.
I walked up to the house like a turtle, I was so scared but I just had to see what was inside. CREEK was the sound that the door made when I opened it but immediately I regretted it. “Hello” I heard a creaky voice say “AHH” I screamed as a cold hand pulled me into a room.

The hard thing about it is was doing it in time.
It was very embarassing when we had to show it in front of lot's of people when we did the video.

I made this short story that I am going to share with you.
Here it is .......
BOOM the noisy helicopter shattered across the muddy soaked ground, the woman’s hands started to sweat and she felt hot and dizzy. She was just lying there on the ground winded as the helicopter burst into flames around her. After a moment she jumped up and ran trying to find the exit. She found the exit and ran out onto the wet grass.Then she tripped rolling down the hill at full speed then she bumped into something fluffy. She looked up and saw a tiger staring right at her. She screamed as the tiger bared its teeth, she was prepared to die but instead the tiger beant down and licked her face. She wiped her face from all the slobber. She realized that the rescue team had come and it was her tiger ‘stripes’. She jumped up and she felt warm and sunny inside. She would be able to go home safe.
